What is your power animal ? Shamanic Power Animal Retrieval will let you know!
A power animal retrieval is a shamanic method used to connect us to helping spirits that show themselves in the form of an animal. Shamans believe that each of us has a spirit guardian whose job it is to protect and empower us. These guardians may take the form of an animal and help us with power, protection, energy, support and vitality. Each animal has great wisdom and brings specific gifts, talents, strengths and purpose in helping an individual. Sometimes a power animal leaves suddenly for unknown reasons. When this happens, the person becomes disempowered and the result is misfortune and/or illness. Power animals choose people; shamans don’t make the selection. With the help of my own power animals, I’ll be journeying into the spirit world to discover an animal spirit that had previously been your companion. Prevailing upon the animal’s compassion, I request it to return to its human friend. If the animal agrees, I escort it back to you. After such a retrieval you may experience a resurgence of power, health or effectiveness. Retrieving power animal is a fundamental way to retrieve a person's innate, instinctual energies, of re-spiriting a person, re-integrating their core energies and bringing them a true ally for healing, for life-guiding and for relationships. Duration: 45 min 5 private sessions will be held on a first come first served basis.

His interest evolved into exploring the heart's intelligence, where he discovered that it is in living through the heart that his life has been enriched profoundly. Hello everyone, I wanted to share with you what has been going on the past couple of weeks. I know you have probably sensed some radio silence.. . In mid Jan, we had been working on creating a program that would inspire you on your journey and looking for collaborators that could support this dream we had. It is still the case, however, we came to the realisation a little before Chinese New Year that we might be rushing into things since a lot of the collaborators were not available in the short notice… Coming back from our respective Chinese New Year holiday, we remind ourselves of our main intention of being of service to you and offer a quality experience in your development journey and with that intention in mind, we decided it is wise to postpone it. The first idea was to do it in May, however, there were no availabilities left on the island. So here I am writing to you with the same enthusiasm and possibly even more than the first day we launched this baby, to announce that we have set ourselves a new date end of September!! Our next steps are to confirm the exact date with the island and then nothing is in our way to create the grandest Walkabout Festival this world has ever seen! As we speak we are exploring with some prized collaborator the different types of workshops that can be offered during the festival. We are holding a session on the 25th of April to create a first draft. We will share with you our first draft because we will need your feedback and perspective. This is your event too!! Once we collect all your feedback, we will do another session in may and publish our final program. So please mark your calendars and participate in the creation of this beautiful experience!! We’ll keep you posted on our journey :) Sending you tons of love! Sincerely Sarah Sylvain MaheClose your eyes.
When was last time you felt connected ? Heard ? Understood? Maybe it was on a hiking trip with friends, sharing stories over the campfire. Maybe it was at a bar, spilling drunken secrets to a stranger. Maybe you can’t remember the last time. We know where you can find your next. Tribeless Circles are a safe space for curious and compassionate people to come together and have deep, honest, insightful conversations. It is facilitated. It is curated. And it might just change your life. Just like Fight Club, Tribeless Circles are based on rules. Three, specifically:
Based on these three principles, and using a tool called The Empathy Box, we create a warm, respectful space for you to open up and share what’s on your mind. Duration: 90 minutes - 10 participants About 2 years ago, I felt the need for space and slowing down. I was inspired by the story of a friend whom each year takes time for herself to walk in the forest alone with the intention of reconnecting to herself.
At that time I wondered and dreamed to create a space for others to go on their own exploration, at their own pace. This is how the Walkabout-now festival idea emerged. Here are the words I wrote at the time: Intention
Ethos
Posture
For the last two years, I have played with different perspectives and formats to find what could work best. When I shared the idea with Sarah she jumped on it and then I knew it is time do it. So here we are now, holding a space for personal exploration and development. We want people that join us, as well as our facilitators to experiment, play, go deep, learn and be present for one another. We have decided to develop the idea in small iteration, listening to others and inviting those interested to collaborate with us. My dream is that the first Walkabout-Now Festival will be the beginning of a movement that will see other festival in many wonderful places in the world. Sarah and I were sharing a meal together when she told me about the Walkabout Festival and I remember raising both of my hands saying I’m in! It was one of those instant yesses from the heart. The mix of being in nature with like-minded curious people, who have a shared intent to personally grow is something that have been on my wish-list for a long time. I’ve been in coaching, training and facilitating personal transformation for over 15 years, mostly in office buildings and I have been longing to bring this work outside. I believe nature is a huge catalyst for our personal and spiritual growth. Yet many of us, in the midst of modern life are greatly disconnected to nature as well as our own true nature inside of us. Reconnecting to nature sparks our awakening to the source of all life and the interconnectedness and the magic of it all. Reconnecting to ourselves allows us to make better choices and bring out the best version of ourselves into this world.
What’s special about this festival is that it is a perfect opportunity for those who are on the cusp of wanting to move forward and make some positive changes in their lives, but maybe not quite sure yet where to start, as there’s so much offered in this area nowadays. A weekend to explore, learn from others and try out different approaches and workshops is a perfect way to ignite this journey. I’m thrilled to be able to contribute. I’m a barefoot nature girl, with a corporate background at Unilever and solid years of facilitating deep personal transformation, working with individuals as well as groups. I’m a ICF certified professional coach, healer, woman’s group facilitator and mom of two cheeky kids. In 2015, my husband and I moved from Amsterdam to Singapore and we feel grateful for the many amazing people that have crossed our paths in those years. I’m looking forward meeting you on Pulau Pangkil! When Michael first talked to me about this idea of his that has been brewing for a while, I immediately jumped in! It totally resonated with me and just the idea made my heart sing! Holding a safe space where people can be accompanied into their self-discovery through by different methods used by a wide range of collaborators. This was so exciting to me and an individual as well as a professional in what I do. As a glimpse, I’m a warm wholehearted, compassionate space holder that helps guide, accompany and empower people on their life journey through the holistic approach of integral coaching with the support of various other practices such as somatic bodywork, singing bowl therapy to name a few. This holistic approach engages and helps connect mind, body and spirit to access your higher self and deepest most powerful potential. Now this is just a fraction of me, and the beauty in life is that I'm ever changing, growing, unfolding to get to know more, about my story, you’ll just have to follow our blog or come meet us at the festival :) Sarah 2017. I remember the day Michael told me he wanted to organize Walkabout Now. His vision resonated a lot with what I do: help individuals, leaders and organizations become more conscious. Fast forward to the end of 2018. We're catching up over lunch and I'm eating a delicious Phô when Michael tells me: "Remember Walkabout Now? It’s happening! Are you interested?" I felt a familiar warmth in my heart and I knew that was the answer, there was no need to think. Of course, I was in! Why? I guess the main reason is that I believe we need to raise our level of self-awareness. Most of us were never taught how to communicate, how to listen to our bodies, how to express our needs, how to set our boundaries or how to heal ourselves and that leads to a lot of suffering. In the workplace. At home. Within ourselves. This need to grow and learn has become even more important as humanity is facing the biggest challenges of our time: our own survival. But there is hope. I see more and more people around me who crave for more. More meaning. More impact. More fun. More love. They want a life worth living. Some give up. Some explore. I chose to explore and all along this journey of self-discovery and growth I met fantastic people and received a lot from them. It’s time to give back and that's why I happily joined the team. We need more events like Walkabout Now. Co-created. Emergent. Where everything is optional except respect, compassion and a desire to explore and grow. I’m grateful I was offered the opportunity to join such a wonderful team and I can’t wait to meet you on the island Sylvain |
