In the corporate world I work as a Conscious Leadership Coach. I help organizations and leaders become more conscious of their impact on their employees, their customers, the communities and our planet. I strive to rehumanize workplaces by bringing practices that cultivate mindfulness, trust, presence, creativity, playfulness and joy. My dream is a world where people can bring their whole selves to work and businesses become forces for good that don't need to choose between People, Planet and Profits.
My job is a direct expression of my personal journey to become a more conscious person. It started more than a decade ago with Systemic Constellations where I reconnected with my body and emotions. It felt as if an entire world just unlocked and since then I've been exploring my inner self and my relationship to others, nature and the universe. My journey brought me to many territories like MBSR, Tantra, Process Work, Inner Engineering, Vipassana and Shamanic work. During the Walkabout Now Festival, I'll facilitate Power Animal Retrieval sessions.

Omsira Barry has been on the path of self-betterment. His explorations, learning and practice has led him to being a holistic lifestyle practitioner for the past 10 years. Putting his love for crystals & design, and creating tools for self-care & self-empowerment, led to the creation of the Alternative Store (now Athma Store). This iconic boutique on the famous Haji Lane, carries many of his creations from aromatherapy products to sacred jewellery, apparel and the curation of activated crystal specimens.
His interest evolved into exploring the heart's intelligence, where he discovered that it is in living through the heart that his life has been enriched profoundly. When one increases the coherence of one's heart rhythm, by sustaining positive feelings, it not only benefits entire energetic body systems but also enhances how we perceive, think and perform as a sentient individual in a conscious ecosystem. The evolving needs of the tribe has led to the expansion of Alternative Store to Athma Soulutions - where heart-centric living solutions are co-created through workshops, sacred circles and community events, creating spaces for one to journey within and grow together as one. He truly believes that one's path is to be the best version one can be, filling each present moment with blessings, love and grace. contact: journeywithus@athmasoulutions.com Dr Martha Lee
Surrounded by friends who were sexually inhibited and struck by dire lack of positive conversations around sex and sexuality in Singapore, Dr. Martha Tara Lee decided to make a stand for positive sexuality by launching Eros Coaching in 2009 after completing her Doctorate in Human Sexuality. She also holds certificates in counselling, coaching and sex therapy, and her fourth degree – a Masters in Counselling in May 2018. In practice for 10 she is the only certified sexuality educator and certified sexuality educator supervisor by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) in Singapore. Often cited in the local media, Dr Lee is the appointed sex expert for Men’s Health Singapore, and Men’s Health Malaysia. She was recognised as one of ‘Top 50 Inspiring Women Under 40ʹ by Her World in July 2010, and one of ‘Top 100 Inspiring Women’ by CozyCot in March 2011. She has published three books: Love, Sex and Everything In-Between, Orgasmic Yoga, From Princess to Queen and {Un}Inhibited. About 2 years ago, I felt the need for space and slowing down. I was inspired by the story of a friend whom each year takes time for herself to walk in the forest alone with the intention of reconnecting to herself.
At that time I wondered and dreamed to create a space for others to go on their own exploration, at their own pace. This is how the Walkabout-now festival idea emerged. Here are the words I wrote at the time: Intention
Ethos
Posture
For the last two years, I have played with different perspectives and formats to find what could work best. When I shared the idea with Sarah she jumped on it and then I knew it is time do it. So here we are now, holding a space for personal exploration and development. We want people that join us, as well as our facilitators to experiment, play, go deep, learn and be present for one another. We have decided to develop the idea in small iteration, listening to others and inviting those interested to collaborate with us. My dream is that the first Walkabout-Now Festival will be the beginning of a movement that will see other festival in many wonderful places in the world. Sarah and I were sharing a meal together when she told me about the Walkabout Festival and I remember raising both of my hands saying I’m in! It was one of those instant yesses from the heart. The mix of being in nature with like-minded curious people, who have a shared intent to personally grow is something that have been on my wish-list for a long time. I’ve been in coaching, training and facilitating personal transformation for over 15 years, mostly in office buildings and I have been longing to bring this work outside. I believe nature is a huge catalyst for our personal and spiritual growth. Yet many of us, in the midst of modern life are greatly disconnected to nature as well as our own true nature inside of us. Reconnecting to nature sparks our awakening to the source of all life and the interconnectedness and the magic of it all. Reconnecting to ourselves allows us to make better choices and bring out the best version of ourselves into this world.
What’s special about this festival is that it is a perfect opportunity for those who are on the cusp of wanting to move forward and make some positive changes in their lives, but maybe not quite sure yet where to start, as there’s so much offered in this area nowadays. A weekend to explore, learn from others and try out different approaches and workshops is a perfect way to ignite this journey. I’m thrilled to be able to contribute. I’m a barefoot nature girl, with a corporate background at Unilever and solid years of facilitating deep personal transformation, working with individuals as well as groups. I’m a ICF certified professional coach, healer, woman’s group facilitator and mom of two cheeky kids. In 2015, my husband and I moved from Amsterdam to Singapore and we feel grateful for the many amazing people that have crossed our paths in those years. I’m looking forward meeting you on Pulau Pangkil! |
